On December 31, 2024, Raccoon Dog, the agency that manages Fairouz Ai, posted on their website that the actor had been diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
Following that, Raccoon Dog announced that Ai would be spending less time working and focusing more on her recovery.
Ai confirmed this by explaining her condition further on X. In her post, she shared that she developed PTSD a few months ago.
Before revealing her diagnosis, she said she had been working hard to meet everyone’s expectations, but now it’s time to prioritize her treatments for mental and physical health.
The actor kindly asked fans to continue supporting the shows she is part of and the characters she voices, thanking those who understand her situation.
Ai did not go into the specifics or the cause of her condition but assured everyone that she was doing her best to get back on her feet.
What Are Fairouz Ai’s Most Iconic Works
Fairouz Ai is a half-Japanese, half-Egyptian voice actor known in the industry for her hard work and popularity through her involvement in well-known anime titles.
Some examples of those shows include Kaiju No. 8, where she plays Kikoru Shinomiya, Chainsaw Man as Power, and If My Favorite Pop Idol Made It to the Budokan, I Would Die as Eripiyo.
