David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown were all smiles when they posed together at the red carpet premiere of the final season of Stranger Things, amidst the rumored bullying allegation.
Earlier this week, there were reports that Brown filed a harassment and bullying complaint against Harbour before the final season was filmed, and there were "pages of accusations" and "the investigation went on for months." Neither Brown nor Harbour commented on the rumor when it made its waves online.
Were the David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown Bullying Rumors Fake?
Harbour and Brown have seemingly put the rumors to rest, as they posed together on good terms on the red carpet at the premiere of the final season of Stranger Things yesterday at the TCL Chinese Theatre.
The co-stars shared a hug and chatted in their various interactions throughout the event, and voluntarily posed together in front of photographers.
They also did not comment on the rumors of the alleged bullying complaint reports that surfaced online. Instead, in one of the red carpet interviews, Brown discussed the friendship she formed with Harbour throughout the years.
"I obviously have a really special bond with David because we have a father-daughter relationship, and we do every scene together. You'll really get to see that in season 5. It's so special to have him along the journey for me," she told Entertainment Tonight.
Stranger Things executive producer Shawn Levy also shot down the rumors when he was asked by The Hollywood Reporter about how they handle a bullying complaint on set.
"At the end of the day, that’s the job,” Levy replied. “You have to create a respectful workplace where everyone feels comfortable and safe, and so we did everything to build that environment. And we’re proud of the fact that we did so," he said.
"I’ve read a bunch of stories and they range from wildly inaccurate to... there’s so much noise around it. But the truth is that we view this crew and this cast as family, and so we treat each other with respect, and that’s always been bedrock."
What to Expect in the Final Season of Stranger Things
According to the logline for the final season of Stranger Things, set in the fall of 1987, "Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding."
"As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time."
The final season will be released across three phases: Volume 1 (four episodes) on November 26, Volume 2 (three episodes) on Christmas Day, December 25, and Volume 3 (the final episode) on New Year's Eve, December 31.
