LEGO and Star Wars are two brands that go hand-in-hand, and thanks to Beyond the Brick, we have this cool video of a full LEGO droid orchestra playing the intro theme to Star Wars.
Here’s also the official breakdown of everything it took to make the video possible:
46 LEGO Star Wars BOOST R2-D2 Droids
26 LEGO Star Wars BOOST Mouse Droids
23 LEGO Star Wars BOOST Gonk Droids
3,148 Hours of Creation
42 Real Instruments
One Crazed Inventor
10 Xylophones
10 Violins
4 Cellos
8 Keyboards
6 Electric Drums
2 Gongs
2 Chimes
2 Floor Toms (Drums)
2 Cymbals
It’s interesting that Beyond the Brick should post the video now since everyone is expecting some new LEGO Star Wars material in a month with Force Friday. There’s been confirmation that we’ll be getting new sets for The Rise of Skywalker, and we’re also going to get a kit for The Mandalorian as well as some miscellaneous sets (e.g., a new Yoda statue).
Not to mention, we’re also set to get a reboot of the LEGO Star Wars games near the end of the year. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga promises to delve into all the main Star Wars films. Since we’re expecting the game to include content from TROS, it’s likely that we would get a release this December. If anything, maybe the game can even release on the same day as the movie.
No official release date has been set for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, but Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters this coming Dec. 20.
