Amana and Umezu’s manga, Vermeil in Gold, will receive its first anime episode this year.
The manga was launched in Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine in 2018. It can be collected in 5 tankobon volumes as of November 2021.
The series will be part of the Summer 2022 line-up. Staple Entertainment is in-charge of adapting the manga into an anime.

Vermeil in Gold: All You Need to Know
Vermeil in Gold follows Alto Goldfield. He is a student at a magic academy whose goal is to become a master magician. However, it appeared that he was failing one of his classes. This could hold him back for a year.
As he was stressed about what to do, he discovers an old grimoire. He decided to follow its instructions, which includes inscribing a magic circle and surprisingly summons a powerful demon.
Vermeil has been sealed for years and Alto decided to make her his familiar. She would gladly do it but in return, she would get magical energy from him through a deep kiss. Will Vermeil help Alto achieve his goal?
Vermeil in Gold will be directed by Takashi Naoya. The series composition will be handled by Tatsuya Takahashi, who performed the same role for the infamous World's End Harem.
Cast members have been confirmed as well. Yuya Hirose (Takuya Yamamoto in Tokyo Revengers) will voice Alto Goldfield, while Maaya Uchida (Melty Melromarc in The Rising of the Shield Hero) will play Vermeil.
Vermeil in Gold Episode 1 Release Date
Vermeil in Gold will make its premiere on July 5, 2022, at 22:30 JST. It will air on various Japanese channels, such as BS11, Tokyo MX, and AT-X.
It has been confirmed that most international fans will be able to watch Vermeil in Gold on HIDIVE.
As of this writing, no news about the English cast has been confirmed. Those who prefer to watch on English dub will have to wait for further announcement.
