Venom Director Reveals a Number of Non-Spoilery Easter Eggs

Sony's upcoming Venom movie is leaving fans curious since they aren't sure if it's going to be good. While it does have impressive visual effects and a talented cast, lines like the infamous "turd in the wind" one left a bad taste in the mouths of various fans. That being said, it seems like director Ruben Fleischer is a big fan of the character and comics in general, sharing some really cool easter eggs.

During an interview with Screen Rant, Fleischer was more than willing to share some of the film's easter eggs. They aren't too spoilery so fans who want to go in the movie blind need not worry. Still, here's our official warning on what could be appearing in the film.

Fleischer reveals that there will be a building called the Schuller building, which is based on Randy Schuller. This fan actually gave Marvel the idea to make Spider-Man's black suit a living entity and got $50 for the work. Venom is obviously worth more these days, but it's a cute little story.

There will also be a law firm called Micheline and McFarlane's, the names of Venom's original creators. David Micheline and Todd McFarlane not only made the character but created plenty of memorable stories for both Spider-Man and Venom. Marvel is going to re-release an omnibus that collects all of their Amazing Spider-Man comics together.

Here's Fleischer's full statement:

Venom hits theaters on October 5.
