Venom Blu-Ray Will Include Extended Post-Credits Scene Featuring Woody Harrelson

There is much to look forward to when the Venom Blu-ray finally drops early next year. The copy is set to feature several deleted scenes and an extended version of the post-credits sequence featuring Woody Harrelson.

We already know that the Venom Blu-ray will have plenty of goodies for fans who couldn't get enough of Eddie Brock. Interestingly, a Twitter user came across the list of special features in the disc. The Blu-ray will have six different featurettes as well as music videos for Eminem's Venom and Post Malone's Sunflower. In addition to that, there are three deleted scenes, one of which is a longer version of the San Quentin Post Credit Scene where Eddie met with Cletus Kasady.

In Venom, the post-credit sequence merely introduced Cletus as he casually freaked Eddie out with a bloody welcome message. The scene even had the character namedrop his future alter ego with a rather obvious line.

So what can we expect in the extended post credit scene? There are speculations that we will see how Venom somehow drops its offspring that will eventually become Carnage. However, it's still possible that the Symbiote will do this in the Venom sequel.

We'll still have to wait for some time before we can get our hands on the Venom Blu-ray. Sony has not yet confirmed when the Blu-ray and DVD for the comic book film will be released. Nevertheless, it's possible that we'll be getting an announcement before the end of the year.
