Two of the K-pop industry's Big 3 teamed up to complete the DearU Bubble service. JYP Entertainment secured a 23.3 percent stake in SM Studio's DearU. From there, SM and JYP worked together to create the messaging service DearU Bubble.
The platform allows fans to communicate with the agencies' artists privately. Among the participating acts are TWICE, DAY6, ITZY, and Stray Kids for JYP Entertainment; aespa, Red Velvet, NCT, WayV, TVXQ!, Super Junior, and SHINee for SM Entertainment.
Months after its launch, fans noticed that TWICE member Momo spent most of her days from May to August interacting with her fans. In return, fans thanked and commended her for showing sincerity.

TWICE Momo Logs On Bubble Everyday
On Pann Nate, fans shared screenshots of the calendar and marked the days the Japanese idol logged into her Bubble account in the past months. To everyone's surprise, they saw how she visited the app every day from May to August and only went away several times.
As a result, fans expressed their gratitude toward Momo, who never fails to amaze everyone.
"During the 166 days of having the account open, she came on Bubble for 145 days. (The paid fan communication app costs 4,500 KRW per month). Momo's fans must be so happy. That money would not seem like a waste," the user who made the post said.

All JYP idols go online on the platform and send messages to their fans as frequently as possible. For fans, it is their way to assure that they know how the idols cherish them sincerely.
However, some of SM Entertainment's artists suffered from backlash for being inactive, especially Red Velvet member Joy.
TWICE Momo Way Better Than Red Velvet Joy?
Before the screenshots went viral, Bubble users criticized Joy for being inactive despite having her time. The subscribers argued that other K-idols find time to manage their Bubble account while Joy only logged into it a couple of times.
Recently, she started sending messages again. Unfortunately, fans accused her of sending messages only after she had been called out. In addition, the messages were sent a day before the subscription ended. If she failed to do her part, corresponding refunds would have been done.
While comparing two idols should never be tolerated, fans could not help but question Joy's sincerity, and they kept on asking her about that in the past few days.
