Choi Hyun Wook has confirmed his participation in the new action Kdrama Weak Hero.
The Twenty Five Twenty One actor joins Hong Kyung and former Wanna One member Park Ji Hoon in the upcoming wavve drama based on the popular webtoon of the same name.
Weak Hero is a school Kdrama that depicts the story of a weak boy who fights violence inside and outside the school using his natural intelligence and analytic skills. Yeon Si Eun is the top 1% model student who looks weak but is actually strong and powerful in real life.

Choi Hyun Wook Gets New Acting Project After Twenty Five Twenty One
Choi Hyun Wook will portray the character of Ahn Su Ho, an honest and free soul who is not interested in school life except for graduation and diligently attends classes, therefore having a perfect attendance as what he promised to his grandmother.
The 2021 SBS Drama Awards Best New Actor will captivate potential viewers with his acting transformation, making the forthcoming series an interesting watch.
Choi Hyun Wook has previously proved his comical acting as the love line of WJSN Bona in Twenty Five Twenty One. Last year, he won the Best New Actor award for Racket Boys and Taxi Driver.

Park Ji Hoon To Play Lead Role In New Kdrama
The former Wanna One member Park Ji Hoon will prove his acting skills once more as he portrays the main character, Yeon Si Eun, in Weak Hero.
Yeon Si Eun is a person who uses his brain and skills to develop strategic and original fighting methods to suppress violence in and out of the school premises.
He was an outsider who had no other interests except for studying. Things see a gradual change as he gets entangled with Ahn Su Ho and Oh Beom Seok, witnessing new and fun things to explore in his life as a student.
Meanwhile, Hong Kyung will play the role of Oh Beok Seok, Yeon Si Eun, and Ahn Su Ho’s friend. His character is the first one who sees aspirations and idolizes Si Eun for being a weak hero and Su Ho for his refreshing and free-soul personality.
Hong Kyung is expected to present a flawless portrayal of his character as he previously won Best New Actor at the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards for his act in the Korean film Innocence. He has also starred in the Kdramas D.P. and Lovers of the Red Sky.
