Who Is the Goddess in Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy?
The overseer of the other world, where the primary events of the series take place, is a deity named the Goddess.
According to an agreement struck with Cass Tort and Kanart Io, upon their arrival on Earth, they are obligated to adopt the surname Misumi and, at a designated moment, relinquish their most cherished possession to the Goddess.
Due to this arrangement, Makoto Misumi was chosen as the candidate to venture into the realm under the Goddess’ jurisdiction.
The Goddess is characterized by her dismissive and egoistical demeanor, particularly when it comes to assessing physical attributes.
Despite possessing the power of creation, she appears more concerned with superficial matters such as beauty and tends to scorn anything she deems as unattractive.
Her lack of shame or consideration for others becomes evident when she forcefully summoned Makoto to delay an invasion of a human territory by a Greater Dragon and Sofia.
Does the Goddess Ever Reveal Her Face in Tsukimichi?
From the start of the series, there has been a mysterious element around the existence of the Goddess.
In fact, for most of the series, she remains unnamed. However, Makoto named her Bug.
Moreover, the Goddess keeps her face hidden most of the time, but she presents herself as an adult woman with remarkably long blonde hair that's intricately tied in a braid.
Her hairstyle features bangs elegantly flowing on either side, complementing her eyes.
The official website of Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy Season 1 has unveiled the complete appearance of the Goddess, including her face.
This appears to be her default form, as she later demonstrated the ability to freely change her appearance, taking on the look of a young girl when in the presence of Tomoki Iwahashi.
Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy is currently streaming on Crunchyroll and is part of the streamer’s Winter 2024 anime catalog.
After Makoto’s victory over Sofia and Mitsurugi, humanity is spared from the attack of the demon army, at least temporarily.
The Goddess acknowledges Makoto’s increasing power, seeing him not just as a nuisance but as a powerful rival.
