New English Dub Cast for Tokyo Revengers Season 3 Revealed
Iyuno dropped an announcement on February 15 on their social media, exciting fans of the Tokyo Revengers English dub.
The Tenjiku Arc, which premiered in October 2023, did not have an English dub version, and no updates were made public until recently.
The post revealed the voice actors selected for the series’ third season, and they are:
- Bryce Papenbrook (Attack on Titan, The Seven Deadly Sins) as Souya Kawata
- Kieran Regan (Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom) as Haruchiyo Sanzu & Rindo Haitani
- Damien Haas (Delicious in Dungeon, My Happy Marriage) as Kakucho
- Jonathan Bullock (Dynasty Warriors: Origins) as Shion Madarame
- Lucien Dodge (Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic) as Ran Haitani
Fans were naturally eager to hear about the arrival of the dubbed version. Still, months ago, many were skeptical about whether there would actually be one for the third season.
This uncertainty came from Disney acquiring the streaming rights for Tokyo Revengers, which was previously held by Crunchyroll.
As a popular franchise, Tokyo Revengers received strong marketing support from Crunchyroll, but fans feel the same cannot be said for Disney.
Those who prefer watching without subtitles will no longer have to wait much longer, as the English dub is set to release sometime in 2025 on Disney+ and Hulu.
Updates on the exact premiere date have yet to be revealed, but an announcement is expected in the coming weeks.
When Will Tokyo Revengers Season 4 Be Coming Out?
The third season of Tokyo Revengers covered the Tenjiku Arc, which is widely regarded as the best arc in the series created by Ken Wakui.
In this season, Takemichi Hanagaki, who has the ability to time leap, begins to face the effects of his powers and must confront the Tenjiku gang, the largest and most powerful gang from Yokohama.
The fourth season of Tokyo Revengers, which will cover the Bonten Arc, or the final arc of the manga, is already in development and is expected to premiere in late 2025.
For those who haven’t had the chance to check out Tokyo Revengers yet, here’s how Kodansha USA Publishing describes it:
"Watching the news, Takemichi Hanagaki learns that his girlfriend from way back in middle school, Hinata Tachibana, has died. The only girlfriend he ever had was just killed by a villainous group known as the Tokyo Manji Gang. He lives in a crappy apartment with thin walls, and his six-years-younger boss treats him like an idiot. Plus, he's a complete and total virgin... At the height of his rock-bottom life, he suddenly time-leaps twelve years back to his middle school days!! To save Hinata, and change the life he spent running away, hopeless part-timer Takemichi must aim for the top of Kanto's most sinister delinquent gang!!"
