Tokyo Revengers Season 2 is finally coming early next year and that means there will be new characters showing up in the anime. Interestingly, the new cast members have been revealed and it looks like the series is adding some heavy hitters. It has just been confirmed that Jujutsu Kaisen star Junya Enoki and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba's Natsuki Hanae will be playing important characters in the Christmas Showdown arc!
It was previously reported that Tokyo Revengers Season 2 is set to premiere in January 2023 and the announcement was hyped up with a new key visual which includes new character Hakkai Shiba, who will be played by My Hero Academia's Tasuku Hatanaka.
Hakkai is an important character on his own but his story is also connected to two major players in the Christmas Showdown arc. Tokyo Revengers has revealed that the Black Dragons members Seishu Inui and Hajime Kokonoi will be played by Junya Enoki and Natsuki Hanae, respectively.
Seishu "Inupi" Inui is the former tenth-generation Black Dragon commander who also happens to be the present-day Black Dragon Vice-Captain and a Tokyo Manji Gang First Division member. He is fiercely loyal to Kokonoi.
Hajime "Koko" Kokonoi was the 10th Generation Black Dragon Elite Guard Captain before becoming a member of the First Division Tokyo Manji Gang. He is an authoritative character who always lands a top position in the gangs he has joined.
It was also confirmed that Masaya Fukunishi will take over as Ken "Draken" Ryuguji. The character was previously played by Tatsuhisa Suzuki who has since left the series following controversies about an extramarital affair and violating NDAs.
Tokyo Revengers Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date but is set to premiere in January 2023. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
