Titans Reveals First Look At Superboy And Krypto The Superdog

The season finale of Titans Season 1 certainly had people talking. After all, there have been speculations that we will finally see another major DC comic book character in the DC Universe series. Interestingly, the post-credit scene gave us a glimpse at Connor Kent as well as Krypto the Superdog.

In the Titans season finale post-credits sequence, we are brought to Metropolis where Cadmus Labs appears to be in a major mess. A mysterious naked man is shown killing anyone in sight. Or perhaps, anyone standing on two legs. The shadowed figure eventually makes it into a dark section of the lab where a white dog is kept in a glass cage. He lets the canine go but not before it barks and its eyes glow an eerie red.

There is little doubt that we have just seen Superboy, as evidenced by one scientist calling him Connor and the unmistakable mark on his arm. It is also clear that his furry companion is none other than Krypto.

So how will Superboy and Krypto fit into the Titans storyline? Connor's backstory already fits considering that he's a Superman clone created by Cadmus. However, it's possible that Krypto's origins will be changed. The canine might be another Cadmus experiment that ended up getting Kryptonian powers. Needless to say, we are certainly looking forward to seeing more of these characters in the second season of Titans.

DC Universe has yet to confirm Titans for a second season. Nevertheless, fans are expecting Titans Season 2 to premiere later this year. The first season will air on Netflix on January 11.
