What Is Time Patrol Bon About?
The sci-fi adventure series Time Patrol Bon is a beloved manga that captivated fans when it first came out in the 70s.
The story revolves around a middle school student named Bon Namihira who crosses paths with Ream Stream—a girl from the future and a Time Patrol (T.P.) operative.
Because of their encounter, Bon joins the Time Patrol and sets out on a journey through the past.
His mission is to rescue people who suffered unfortunate deaths that have no impact on history.
In the official teaser released by Netflix, Bon and Ream can be seen riding a vehicle that can travel between different eras and locations.
Also shown are historical moments, such as the pyramids being built in Egypt, wartime in Japan, and the Persian War in Greece.

T.P BON Announces Release Dates for Seasons 1 and 2
The Time Patrol Bon anime will be released in two parts, which are now confirmed to be two seasons. The first season will premiere on May 2, while the second season will debut on July 17.
The anime's release dates were revealed during Netflix's presentation at AnimeJapan 2024.
As a Netflix-produced anime, it isn't too surprising that both seasons' release dates were announced at once unlike typical anime releases that see a months-long gap between new season announcements.
While the anime has confirmed seasons 1 and 2's release dates, there's no word yet on its episode count.
