Disney fans don't have to worry about Toy Story 4, because Tim Allan promises that the ending to the fourth installment in the computed animated film franchise is going to be especially emotional.
Appearing on an episode of The Talk, Allen decided to open up about his thoughts about the fourth Toy Story movie. According to the actor who voices the ever courageous Buzz Lightyear in the Toy Story film franchise, the newest Toy Story movie is "so emotional, it's so funny, it's so big the idea they've come up with."
Allen says that fans really shouldn't worry about Toy Story's energy tapering off because "a couple of the scenes towards the end were really hard to get through." While a lot of fans tore up over Toy Story 3, the actor thinks that the next installment will have an even more incredible story with great new faces for fans to fall in love with.
Given the success of Toy Story 3, the next Toy Story installment definitely has a lot to live up to in order to impress the Disney Fanbase. Not only did the film receive critical acclaim for its vocal performance, screenplay and emotional depth, it also became the second Pixar movie to receive an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture – the biggest category at the Oscars.
Toy Story 4 has also had its troubles during production, experience delays and writers (Rashida Jones and Will McCormack) dropping out of the project because of "philosophical differences." Luckily it seems like Toy Story4 is back on track with Allen promising a great script for the movie.
Toy Story 4 is set to premiere on June 21, 2019.
