Dragon Ball Super: Broly, the first Dragon Ball Super feature film, will re-introduce the titular legendary Saiyan to the official canon but there's another character that might potentially be canonized: Gogeta! Rumors that the fan-favorite fusion of form of Goku and Vegeta would show up in the upcoming film have spread, and a Dragon Ball Super animator recently teased about it.

Since Dragon Ball Super: Broly is set after the events of the Dragon BallSuper series, some fans are speculating that Goku and Vegeta will fuse into Gogeta then go Ultra Instinct in their fight against Broly. The studio hasn't confirmed Gogeta or Ultra Instinct Gogeta but if it happens, hopefully, it would something like this:

The piece of art was shared by Twitter user Spaceweaver, and it incredibly captures the spirit of what Dragon Ball fans want to see in the feature film. It certainly looks fantastic but it's clearly different from the film's aesthetic. It would definitely be awesome to see Ultra Instinct Gogeta in the anime's official canon. The fusion only appeared in Dragon Ball GT and Dragon Ball Z films, and they're not considered canon.
