Although Wizards of the Coast won't bring back all the gods from the original Theros block (2013-2014) in the new Magic: The Gathering set Theros Beyond Death, we do know that they're bringing back the five mono-colored gods from the Theros set plus two multicolored god cards, Klothys and Athreos.
Today, Sean Plott (Day9) has revealed "Heliod, Sun Crowned", a three-to-cast white legendary enchantment god that lets you put a +1+1 counter on a creature or enchantment whenever you gain life. The new Heliod can also give any creature lifelink. Its 5/5 body is solid but you need to have five white devotion for it to become a creature.
WotC and other members of the MTG community have also shared other cards from the upcoming set recently, including new rare creatures, enchantments (one of them does exactly the same thing as one of the playtest cards from the Mystery Booster), and other spells. Theros Beyond Death, the 83rd Magic: The Gathering expansion, is set to release on January 24, 2020. Prerelease events will take place on January 17-19.
