The highly-anticipated season 3 of the hit HBO series The White Lotus is set to finally premiere early next year.
After an extended delay due to the Hollywood labor strikes, production on the third season finally took place earlier this year in Thailand with a brand-new cast and a returning star from the first season.
Let's explore everything we know so far about the upcoming season.
What is The White Lotus Season 3 About?
Season 3 of The White Lotus will be set at an exclusive resort in Thailand and follows the exploits of various guests and employees over the span of a week.
The first official teaser trailer was recently released (which you can watch above) giving fans their first early glimpse at the new season and the new characters that they will focus on.
If they follow the pattern of the first two seasons, we can expect the new season to begin with the discovery of the dead body of a mysterious character and we will find out in the rest of the season who got murdered.
Given that it is set in Thailand, we can also expect the new season to explore cultural differences and spirituality as well as class (which is what the series has always been about).
Just like the first two seasons, Mike White directed and wrote all eight episodes of the season.
Who is Starring in The White Lotus Season 3?
The star-studded ensemble of The White Lotus season 3 includes Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Lalisa Manobal, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Lek Patravadi, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme Thapthimthong, and Aimee Lou Wood.
The additional cast also includes Nicholas Duvernay, Arnas Fedaravičius, Christian Friedel, Scott Glenn, Dom Hetrakul, Julian Kostov, Charlotte Le Bon, Morgana O’Reilly, and Shalini Peiri.
Rothwell will be reprising the role of Belinda Lindsey from the first season. This time around, she is a guest when she visits the Thai branch of the titular hotel.
When is The White Lotus Season 3 Coming Out?
