The Scarlet Witch has gone through a long history throughout the MCU. From being an antagonist in Avengers: Age of Ultron, to a full-fledged Avenger by Captain America: Civil War, her villainous era was only beginning after the events of WandaVision, when she was grieving him after his death.

To think that Wanda Maximoff's WandaVision and Multiverse of Madness era were controversial enough, Elizabeth Olsen has one more hot take on what could make her darker than she already is in the billion-dollar franchise.

Recently making her appearance in InStyle, where she took part in a What's in My Bag? segment, the Eternity actress was ecstatic to express her love for playing Wanda:

"[I] care a lot about playing the Scarlet Witch," Olsen told the outlet, "I always hope to do something surprising, every time I've been able to return. It's meant the world to me to be a part of it."

Later on in the video, the deeper they dug through her things, the more they got to know about the actress's priority in her bag, one of which happened to be a House of M Wanda Funko Pop! While showcasing one of her favorite figurines, she told the outlet one specific line from the original comics that she badly wants to say on the big screens:

"No more mutants. That's the character I mentioned playing beforeScarlet Witch," Olsen said, "It's a great line she has in the House of M, and I've never been able to say it, and I'd like to."

For the unfamiliar, House of M was pivotal in the mutant world, considering that the Scarlet Witch was already rewriting reality after an existential crisis. Upon Magneto enraging her, Wanda decided to unleash her powers to end mutantkind, uttering the controversial line, "No more mutants." But it's not in the way you think.

The harbinger of chaos didn't execute them, but she did turn them into regular humans, proving the Scarlet Witch to be an unstoppable force.

The Multiverse of Madness only proved Olsen right when it comes to the Scarlet Witch's capabilities of turning into a cold-blooded villain. She practically wiped the X-Men and other mutants from existence in an alternate universe with the flick of her wrist. But who's to say that would be the last of her?

The last time Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige hinted about her future was when he spoke to Variety in 2022, seemingly teasing about her much-expected return, "I don't know that we saw her under the rubble? I saw a tower coming down and a little red flash. I don't know what that means."

In a previous interview, Olsen did say she would "jump at the opportunity to be in her shoes again", should the right opportunity come right up her alley: "It's a character that I've gotten to return to so many times over 10 years. It's good to put her down, and then I miss her and I want her back."
