The Next Magic: The Gathering Players Tours Are Double Constructed, No Booster Draft

Today, Wizards of the Coast has announced the Magic: The Gathering formats of the upcoming rounds of Players Tours, and the formats for Series 2 will be Modern and Standard Constructed. As you can see below in the chart shared by WotC below, Players Tour: Charlotte, Players Tour: Kitakyushu, and the Players Tour Finals in Minneapolis will feature two Constructed formats instead of one Booster Draft/ one Constructed format.

However, Series 3 will bring back Booster Draft with the Zendikar Rising, the new Magic set coming this fall. It should be interesting to see two Constructed formats used in Players Tour events, and I don't mind watching players play them in major tournaments

Here are ways you can qualify for Players Tour events:

Players Tour and Players Tour Finals events will take place alongside MagicFests. I'm planning to attend Grand Prix Charlotte this May, and probably Grand Prix Washington DC.
