The Matrix Star Carrie-Anne Moss Wants to Join Keanu Reeves in John Wick Franchise

It was a long wait to see Keanu Reeves reuniting with Carrie-Anne Moss but it finally happened in The Matrix Resurrections this month. However, the Jessica Jones star clearly wants to continue working with her co-star. Moss has just admitted to being a huge fan of the John Wick franchise and expressed her interest in playing an assassin in a future sequel!

Carrie-Anne Moss and Keanu Reeves recently spoke to People about working on The Matrix Resurrections and Moss somehow revealed that she enjoyed watching the John Wick movies. "I love John Wick," she said. "I really started to understand Keanu's outrageous gift for telling a story through his body."

Moss then revealed that she started watching the John Wick films because of her son and has been hooked ever since.

"I didn't fully understand that until I went deep into John Wick with one of my children. It was very bonding for us too. It was amazing to have that experience with my son and to watch the depth that Keanu is able to [create] with his body. It's really an art form," she said.

Moss was then asked whether she would like to join the John Wick franchise and Reeves was quick to point out that the idea is "awesome" before asking if Moss would want to play an assassin. "I'd love it," Moss said before adding, "I'll start practicing."

We're loving the idea of Moss and Reeves working together again in another action franchise. After all, the two had great chemistry as Neo and Trinity and it would be interesting to see how it would play out if the dynamics were different. For now, Moss has not yet been confirmed for a John Wick project but stay tuned for more updates on this story.

The Matrix Resurrections is still screening in theaters and on HBO Max.
