The Masked Singer season 12 had its Miley Cyrus Night where four contestants performed the hit songs from the iconic artist's discography.
The night went as usual with fun performances from the contestants with obscure mascots and impressive interpretations of Cyrus' songs. However, one of them got eliminated in the end. Let's recap below.
Who Got Eliminated in The Masked Singer Season 12's Miley Cyrus Night?
Group C performed the hit songs of Cyrus in last night's Week 8 of The Masked Singer season 12 with all of them receiving loud applause from the studio audience.
They also had a group performance of "Party in the USA," which was well-received as they managed to energize the studio audiences.
The biggest standout was the Royal Knight's performance of "When I Look at You" as the audience was impressed by their vocals and how they managed to make their unique take on the hit song.
Sherlock Hound's "Used to Be Young" and Strawberry Shortcake's "Wrecking Ball" were also applauded and the panelists suspected that actual singers might be behind the mascots.
However, it was the Ice King who got eliminated in the episode. While he did a great job performing "Midnight Sky," it was not enough for him to stay in the competition. Despite that, his performance was still praised.
Who is the Celebrity Behind the Ice King?
Former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell is revealed to be the celebrity behind the Ice King in The Masker Singer season 12.
The unmasking of Bell as Ice King was met with excitement by both the panelists and the studio audiences as they were happy to see him on stage.
'90s kids know Bell as the star of the hit Nickelodeon shows Drake & Josh and The Amanda Show. He also voiced Spider-Man in Ultimate Spider-Man.
Bell is also a recording artist himself as he has also released albums throughout his career so far. After all, he is the singer behind Drake & Josh's theme song.
With Bell's elimination, only three contestants remain in Group C and it is interesting to see which one of them will prevail in the end as the race this season has narrowed down.
