Captain America cosplayers are in for a treat, as Hasbro has brought back the Marvel Legends Captain America shield prop replica. This is essentially the best way to get your hands on Cap's shield without leaping into a comic book so it's good that it has been brought back. While far from cheap, this is probably the best way to show how much you love Cap in a con.
Before Hasbro brought it back, third-party sellers had been selling this replica for $200 to $300, which is insane. This is because it sold out and wasn't available for purchase but Hasbro has now changed that. Some fans were probably able to make their own shields, but it definitely cost a lot to make.

At $100, this is basically a steal when compared to getting it on eBay or Amazon from those that are selling it used. Whether you're a cosplayer or a collector, this is definitely a must-have for those that love Captain America. Fans can pre-order this baby now, like here in Entertainment Earth.
While the shield looks great, keep in mind that this is a replica and will not protect you from actual bullets or grenades. Hasbro did say that it can deflect bullets from NERF Guns, but that's about it. Maybe a few punches as well, but who would want to punch someone with a Captain America shield.
