The Law Cafe Episode 2 Recap: Kim Yuri Officially Opens her Cafe
The second episode began with Kim Yuri handing the signed contract to Kim Jung Ho, who seemed stunned that she agreed with the contract’s terms.
Unfortunately, their unresolved conflict never stops as some clause in the contract seems vague.
In The Law Cafe episode 2, Kim Yuri officially opened her new business venture.
She has a skilled barista whom she meets at the prison, and the other is a part-timer who is also a law student.
Finally, Yuri’s most awaited day has come as Law Cafe has officially opened, with some neighbors come to check out the place.
Wishing her luck on the cafe’s launch, Dr. Park Woo Jin (Kim Nam Hee) brought her flowers. However, Kim Jung Ho, who saw everything on the rooftop, felt extremely jealous.
Kim Yuri Got Her First Client
After closing her newly opened cafe, Kim Yuri heard an unusual sound and went to Dr. Park’s clinic, which was right above her cafe to check about the odd noises.
At the clinic, a mysterious man eavesdrops on their conversation and seems to understand Yuri’s complaint.
Back at her cafe, she again heard the loud noises and saw the man at the clinic holding a hammer.
Scared that he might attack her, she screamed and saw Kim Jung Ho rushing to capture the man.
During the intense fight between the two, Kim Yuri recognized the man from the clinic. He explained that he came to see Yuri and sought legal advice as he also experiences the same thing with his apartment.
The next day, Yuri along with her landlord and Dr. Park visited the man’s place and saw the messy condition of his house.
With her first client, Yuri starts investigating the man’s concern and finds out that the building was at fault.
The place was substandard; hence there was no soundproofing in the whole building.
Moreover, Kim Yuri also found out that the company behind it was Dohan Construction, whom his father used to work for.
It can be recalled that in episode 1, it featured why Yuri took up law and that it was because he wanted to help people to attain justice after his father was accused of the things that he didn't do.

In the last scene, Kim Jung Ho received a call from Mr. Park, who is his cousin.
He asked him about Yuri’s number and wanted to call him about his patient, who is Yuri’s first client.
In the area, Jung Ho found the man at the edge of the rooftop, attempting to jump.
“What exactly did you tell your client?” he asked Yuri, who immediately went to the location as soon as she got the call.
On the rooftop, Jung Ho tried to pursue the man using the phrase that Yuri mentioned when he was about to quit.
Moreover, Jung Ho promised the man that they will work on the case and win against the corporation.
