The Killer’s Shopping List showed another sneak peek to fans featuring its main stars, Lee Kwang Soo and Seolhyun.
The upcoming comedy thriller series, which will be available on Viki, is based on the novel of the same name by Kang Ji Young, The Killer's Shopping List tells the story of a murder case that happened on the outskirts of Seoul. A supermarket receipt from a nearby store becomes the evidence that guides the cast members to start a hilarious hunt for the suspect.
Lee Kwang Soo plays Ahn Dae Sung’s role, a part-time worker at MS Mart who has an excellent memory. His girlfriend, Seol Hyun’s Do Ah Hee, is a police officer who helps him solve the mysterious murder case.
Before the series’ arrival, it unveiled a new preview that gave the viewers more details about the two lead’s relationship.

Lee Kwang Soo’s Ahn Dae Sung was once known for his impressive memorization skills. However, he faced a tragedy at his mother’s supermarket when he was 10 years old. Meanwhile, Seolhyun’s Do Ah Hee – who is now Ahn Dae Sung’s girlfriend – has only had her eyes on him since she was still a kid.
The newly released stills show their sweet and adorable exchange as a couple in the drama. In one photo, Ahn Dae Sung proves that he is the most supportive boyfriend by giving Do Ah Hee warm drinks as he warmly smiles at her.

Meanwhile, Do Ah Hee gazes at him as she tries to warm her face with the drinks Ahn Dae Sung gives her. Their romance currently makes the viewers curious whether the investigation into the murder case will take a toll on their relationship.
The production team has since praised their chemistry, saying, “Lee Kwang Soo and Kim Seolhyun boast phenomenal chemistry and teamwork both on and off camera. We could not stop smiling on the filming set, and that energy will be captured exactly as is on screen, so please anticipate their couple chemistry.”
Lee Kwang Soo Shares Whether He Could Be a Detective in Real-Life
Before the series’ premiere, the Prince of Asia sat for an interview with Forbes and gave more details about his role.
The Murderer’s Shopping List serves as his first lead drama on the small screen after four years. Lee Kwang Soo previously became part of other mystery shows, including Busted, Life, and The Accidental Detective 2: In Action.
But despite his experience, he seemingly found no interest in becoming a detective in real life.
“I am a person with a lot of curiosity, so sometimes I observe other people or surroundings,” he said. “But real life doesn’t offer many opportunities to make a good detective like what Dae-sung does in the drama. Also, I am quite poor at guessing the culprit whenever I read thriller novels, watch dramas or movies.”
Lee Kwang Soo, still, will show his acting skills as a detective in his upcoming flick.
