The Killer’s Shopping List is an upcoming comedy thriller series based on the novel of the same name by Kang Ji Young. It tells the story of a murder case on the outskirts of Seoul. A supermarket receipt becomes the evidence as the cast members start a hilarious hunt for the suspect.
Lee Kwang Soo plays Ahn Dae Sung’s role, a part-time worker at MS Mart who has an excellent memory. His girlfriend, Seolhyun’s Do Ah Hee, works as a police officer. The two characters then join forces to solve the mysterious murder case.
Less than two weeks before its premiere, Lee Kwang Soo and the rest of the cast members shared what people should expect from their characters.

The Killer’s Shopping List’s Cast Members Introduce Their Characters
On tvN Drama’s YouTube channel, the cast members shared more details about their characters.
The former Running Man star starts by describing his character, Ahn Dae Sung, as someone who is considered a genius due to his memorization skills. Despite his intellectual capacity, he only works at the supermarket his mother owns.
Meanwhile, AOA Seolhyun says, “Ah Hee is someone who has only had eyes for Dae Sung for the past 20 years. She’s a cop who does not hold back her determined personality.”

Ahn Dae Sung’s mother, Han Myung Sook, is the owner of MS Market. Played by Jin Hee Kyung, the matriarch is a heroine who managed to grow her small mart into a huge one. The character’s husband, Ahn Young Choon (Shin Sung Woo), is a bright character who reportedly tries to protect his “innocent soul.
Park Ji Bin, who plays the role of Saeng Sun, says he cannot share more information about his character – who is an employee at MS Mart – right now. However, he hints that he will be one of the most important individuals in the tvN drama series.

The Pirates 2 actor says that they filmed enjoyably during their first day and revealed that many people waited for them to start the series production.
Seolhyun, meanwhile, reportedly looks forward to seeing the final result of the series since they had so much fun on the set.
The Killer’s Shopping List will begin the hunt for the murderer on April 27.
