Another character from the Demon Realm has returned for the latest episode of The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! This time Saurva is back, with the same intention of wanting to defeat Jahy. However, things are — once again — not going well for her.

The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! Episode 9 Recap
After getting stressed with the recent events with Jahy, Saurva decides to spend a relaxing evening at the bathhouse — which is unfortunately the same bathhouse that Jahy, the boss, and the landlord are in from the previous episode. Saurva has been in the background this whole time, trying to go by unnoticed. Her supposed night of relaxation has been ruined by Jahy, who ended up accidentally taking a lot of her expensive shampoo. All of Saurva's worries went away when she bumped into the boss, who was friendly and sweet to her.
Jahy is in an excellent mood because of payday. She decides to head for a big shopping center that sells home supplies. She was initially supposed to only look for a weapon to defeat the magical girl, but she got distracted. She ends up buying a bunch of other home supplies as well. At her apartment, she sets up multiple traps as preparation in case the magical girl attacks. The downside, however, was that Jahy couldn't leave the apartment. After a while, the landlord enters, and Jahy saves her from getting hit by a basin. Jahy explains to the landlord why she had a bunch of traps in her apartment. The landlord tells Jahy that it's her job to protect her tenants, so she should've told her. Unknown to Jahy, security at the apartment was tightened that day.
Saurva is still trying to gather up the courage to defeat Jahy. She ends up seeing the small version of Jahy fighting with some crows over food. She doesn't realize that it's actually Jahy and just thinks it's a child with the same hair. She ends up getting inspired by Jahy's strength and determination and even asks her how she can be strong like her. Jahy tells her to simply not give up. Before Saurva has the chance to ask for small Jahy's name, she runs off. Later on, Saurva attempts to battle Jahy at the pub during her shift but gets nervous and decides to do it another time.
