60-year-old insurance executive Charles "Chock" Chapple from Wichita, Kansas ended up proposing to Joan in the finale of The Golden Bachelorette.

The long-awaited proposal was made on the beaches of Bora Bora where the newly-minted couple had the momentous occasion and celebrated their hopefully second chance at a lifetime of love.

The final round came down between Chock and 66-year-old ER doctor Guy Gansert from Reno, Nevada, but it was the former who prevailed and proved his worth to Joan.

For viewers, it's not surprising that Chock became Joan's partner in the end as they have proven throughout the weeks that they have great chemistry and he also won the hearts of Joan's kids.

Chock also proposed to Joan with a handmade emerald-cut diamond platinum ring set with two tapered diamond baguettes.

When Will Joan and Chock Get Married?

During the "After the Rose" segment of The Golden Bachelorette finale, Joan and Chock revealed that they have been secluded in Kansas for months. Now that the finale has aired, they can show their relationship in public.

The new couple has not set a date yet for the wedding day and they didn't unveil any plans on the exciting day, but they have proven that they are very much in love and will likely have a long-lasting romance.

It is in contrast with The Golden Bachelor when Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist got married immediately during the finale. However, they ended up divorcing just 100 days later.

For now, fans should let Joan and Chock have their private romantic moment and perhaps they will announce their wedding day once they are ready to walk down the aisle.
