The Eternals Star Kumail Nanjiani Reveals How He Kept His Abs During COVID-19 Quarantine

It's not easy to get a superhero's physique yet Kumail Nanjiani was able to achieve this in preparation for his role in The Eternals. But has his abs survived the coronavirus outbreak quarantine? Interestingly, the Stuber star confirmed that he has been working hard to make sure he keeps his abs in time for when the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick resumes filming.

Nanjiani recently spoke to The Wrap where he admitted that he has been exercising although he and wife Emily V. Gordon are currently in quarantine.

"I have been working out a lot, because… especially in the beginning, the first like month and a half of it. I just felt so out of control and I was like, ‘Oh, this is a thing I could definitely do.' And so, I really did. I'm trying to take a little bit of a break now, but yeah, I've kept it up," Nanjiani said.

Interestingly, the comedian confessed that he exercised "like a demon" since he was concerned that the abs he worked so hard to get could fade away if he didn't keep exercising. However, he has since toned down his routine.

"I also know how hard it was to get it, and it's much easier keeping it than it is to get it, and I don't want to go through that process again. I would say keeping it is half as difficult. Yeah, it's a lot easier," Nanjiani said.

Nanjiani will portray Kingo in The Eternals, which is scheduled for release on February 12, 2021.
