Oscar Isaac recently revealed that he is still open to reprising the role of Poe Dameron in the Star Wars franchise.
The Emmy-nominated actor notably played the fan-favorite character in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. Following the release of The Rise of Skywalker, there are no plans yet to bring back the character. Now that a Rey comeback movie with Daisy Ridley is in the works, fans are hoping that it will be an opportunity to have Poe Dameron be part of the action again.
Is Oscar Isaac Open to Playing Poe Dameron Again in Star Wars?

In an interview with Variety, discussing the upcoming film, Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein, Isaac was asked whether he is open to playing Poe Dameron again in Star Wars if he gets asked.
He first quoted a line from The Simpsons, "I’m a Star Wars." Then, he said, "Yeah, I’d be a Star Wars again if there was something good to do with that."
The actor also discussed his process in choosing projects and whether he has a grand strategy for the movies that he would like to do.
"It’s just about ‘Is there something in a film that I love enough that when that alarm goes off in the morning, I’m ready and wanting to go to work?’ ‘Is there enough in it to pull me across the finish line?’" he explained.
So far, Lucasfilm has not laid out any plans to bring back Isaac to the Star Wars franchise or reunite him with Ridley's Rey in the upcoming post-sequel trilogy movie that is in development.
