What Happened in The Demon Girl Next Door Season 2 Episode 3?
Momo begins the episode by configuring Shamiko's internet connection on their family computer for Ryoko's assignment. While Shamiko continues to bug Momo about the internet, Momo tries to concentrate on passwords and parental controls. Apparently, Shamiko appears to believe that the internet is a person she wishes to meet.
Shamiko recalled her conversation with Mikan the day before as Momo finished configuring the internet. They were discussing Chitchatter, an anime version of Twitter that has 40 million users worldwide.
Mikan informs Shamiko that Momo, like her, has a Chitchatter account where she keeps her online profile as a web diary. With that said, Shamiko's eyes twinkle with delight at the prospect of being able to monitor Momo's personal affairs once she has signed up for an account.
Momo, on the other hand, is determined to teach Shamiko about the dangers of the internet. Momo informs Shamiko about internet bargaining, which can kill Shamiko, because Shamiko is a bit naive. After that, a terrified Shamiko drives Momo away so she can learn on her own. Her mother, on the other hand, gives Shamiko an internet guidebook that Momo herself has given her.
Before the end of Part One of the episode, Shamiko manages to create an account on Chitchatter in the hopes of finding Momo's account and following her. Unfortunately, there are 40 million users worldwide, making it impossible to track down Momo's account in a short period of time.
Momo, fortunately for her, decides to follow Shamiko instead in order to keep tabs on the Shadow Mistress. Momo reads the exchange between Shamiko and Mikan in Chitchatter at night, much to the chagrin of the magical girl.
The second section begins with Momo asking Shamiko's ancestor, Lilith, for information about her sister's whereabouts. To accomplish this, Momo indulges in Lilith's personal favorites such as pudding, pocky, and other sweets. Lilith, on the other hand, informs Momo that she has no recollection of her past memories because she has been trapped in the statue for 2000 years.
Having said that, Shamiko believes Lilith and Momo should become closer and form a bond. Shamiko allows Lilith to take over her body and accompany Momo to a public bathhouse in the morning. While Lilith appears to be ordering some hippy clothes online, Lilith makes fun of Momo's boring appearance. While Momo wants to bail on Lilith, Shamiko is looking forward to the two of them bonding.
Momo began training Lilith as soon as she arrived at the bathhouse, as the latter did not have any money for entrance fees. Lilith continues to obey Momo's orders, despite her displeasure. A power outage caused by the gloomy weather occurred in the bathhouse in an unexpected turn of events. Lilith, the queen of darkness, is terrified of the dark.
Momo, fortunately, uses her smartphone to calm down the clumsy ancestor. Lilith forces Momo to accompany her bare-naked for the first time in the bathhouse. While their relationship is on the right course, Momo blackmails Lilith with a recording of the latter's voice saying she is afraid of the dark.
