Brad Pitt recently opened up about the possibility of working again with Tom Cruise in another movie.
The two Hollywood A-listers notably starred together in the 90s classic Interview with the Vampire. However, since then, they haven't shared the screen again, and fans felt that it's overdue now for them to collaborate again in a project.
Is Brad Pitt Open to Working with Tom Cruise Again in Another Movie?
During a red carpet interview with E! News during the premiere of his new film F1, Pitt was asked whether he is interested in working with Cruise again in another movie.
Fortunately for fans, he said that he is open to another collaboration with the Mission: Impossible star, but he has one condition.
"Well, I’m not gonna hang my ass off airplanes and sh*t like that. So when he does something again that’s on the ground, [then yes]," Pitt responded.
He was referencing the major stunt in Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, where Cruise was practically hanging on an airborne biplane. It was the centerpiece of the film's climactic fight.
Pitt currently stars in the new sports drama film F1, where the racing scenes were also shot practically in various Formula One tracks around the world. Lewis Hamilton is involved as one of the producers.
Is Tom Cruise Also Open to Working with Brad Pitt?
A few months ago, Cruise showed his support for Pitt and the then-upcoming release of F1 in an interview.
"Brad’s got a new movie with Jerry Bruckheimer and Joe Kosinski. I can’t wait to see that this summer. It’ll be awesome. It’s great to see Brad driving. He's very good," he said.
The Mission: Impossible star also reminisced about the time when he and Pitt went go-kart racing during the filming of Interview with the Vampire.
"He’s a very good driver. Believe me, I’ve raced against him. When we were doing Interview with the Vampire, we’d go and race go-karts. We’d literally finish and go drive go-karts all night," he shared.
While he didn't directly address whether he would like to work with Pitt again, his words indicate that he still has fondness for him and is open to another collaboration.
