The Book of Boba Fett is the latest addition to the roster and to get ready for the new show, here is what you need to watch to prepare for it and understand the events from a deeper perspective.
What Do You Need to Watch to Get Ready for The Book of Boba Fett?
Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones
It is in the Attack of the Clones where the origins of Boba Fett were explored which is tied to the creation of the Clone Republic by the Kaminoans against the Republic. The clones were pattered after Jango Fett, a Mandalorian bounty hunter, and he asked for one clone to raise as his own child. When Mando died in the hands of Mace Windu, it was Boba who succeeded his father.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Boba Fett appeared in the series in Episode 20 of Season 2 where he pretended to be a Clone recruit in hopes of avenging his father’s death. There, he was imprisoned in Coruscant. From then on, he escaped and he joined forces with Asajj Ventress to do what he is best known for: collecting a bounty.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch
In the animated series, Omega was revealed to be the last clone and the only female with the only “pure” genetic component replicated from Jango. Along with Omega, the only other clone to have such from Jango is his own son, Boba Fett and in Episode 9, he was revealed to be the first-ever clone made by the Kaminoans, the “Alpha” clone.

While this didn’t have much of Boba Fett, only appearing on screen for a few seconds, this established the fact that Boba Fett was employed by Jabba the Hut, possibly the same reason why said territory is his target.
Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back
This shows the best of Boba Fett as a bounty hunter. He was given by Darth Vader a mission to get Han Solo and friends. Boba Fett was able to prevent Han and Leia get away by effortlessly tracking and cornering the Millennium Falcon. This is where fans noticed him for sure.
Star Wars: Episode VI – Return Of The Jedi
If he had his share of his best moments, this is where he is on the bottom-most portion of the heap. This is where he went to the battle at the Sarlaac Pitt to fight but his jet pack was targeted by Han Solo, who was still blind, by the way, and this is where he fell down into the monster.
The Mandalorian
The Mandalorian showed that Boba Fett was able to survive the fall and escape Sarlaac. Boba Fett and Fennec Shand came to help Mando and he finally reveals himself to Mando. By the end of the series, he executed Bib Fortuna and he was able to take the throne of Jabba the Hut.
