The Big Bang Theory is now celebrating its 15th anniversary since its release, and fans have wondered if the show will be revived with its original characters. So, will there be The Big Bang Theory revival coming?
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the show's creators, Bill Prady and Chuck Lorre opened up about the show's future and if there would be The Big Bang Theory revival. By the looks of it, Prady and Lorre themselves find it hard to continue the series after giving it a proper closure.

Both Prady and Lorre find it hard to imagine how to continue the 12-season series.
"I know that people do get characters for reunions and things like that," Prady said. "But it's hard to imagine what you would see after the finale because I found the finale was just one of the most beautiful and satisfying episodes."
Prady even saw its finale "astonishing," making it hard for them to open its story again.

"I don't think we left anything undone," Lorre added. "That was as close to a perfect finale as we could have ever dreamt of doing, I loved it."
Despite seeing its final episode satisfying, the two are still open to doing The Big Bang Theory revival with all the original characters in it.
"Would I like to stand on a stage someplace and watch those characters again? Yes, absolutely," Prady stated. "Can I imagine a way to do it? I can't. But, personally, would I like to go to Stage 25 and see that set and those costumes and those people? Yeah, I get choked up just thinking about it."

Possible The Big Bang Theory Revival Plotlines
Prady and Lorre have indeed given The Big Bang Theory a satisfying finale. However, the show still ended with open-ended stories, like Penny (Kalkey Cuoco) and Leonard's (Johnny Galecki) lives as parents, per ScreenRant.
For starters, Kaley was pregnant when the show ended. It has been known that the two have contradicting thoughts about having kids, so this storyline may play out in The Big Bang Theory revival.
It can also feature Raj's (Kunal Nayyar) love life after his engagement with Anu (Rati Gupta) was called off.

However, doing this will be a little tricky, knowing the series' cast members are now busy doing their respective projects. So, having their schedules meet will be difficult.
Anyhow, as the stars have repeatedly said that they are open to reuniting for the show, it looks like it's not far from happening.
