There is little doubt that fans are hyped up now that Star Wars: The Bad Batch has been renewed for a second season. After all, this would mean that we could see more of Hunter, Omega, Echo, Wrecker, Tech, and Crosshair next year.

But that's not the only thing that people are so excited about. With The Bad Batch Season 2 officially announced, this means we'll be getting four Star Wars shows on Disney+ in 2022 alone.

People have been emotional this week knowing that The Bad Batch is coming to an end next week. The previous episode found Hunter separated from his team and being captured by the Galactic Empire. In addition to that, he has been confronted by Crosshair who seems to have plans for Hunter.

Although The Bad Batch might end on a cliffhanger this year, fans can expect to see more of Clone Force 99 in 2022. The show's official Twitter account has shared an announcement video confirming that The Bad Batch Season 2 is coming in 2022.

Amazingly, The Bad Batch Season 2 is the fourth Star Wars series confirmed to air on Disney+ next year. We already know that The Mandalorian Season 3 will be released in 2022 to make way for The Book of Boba Fett this year. In addition to that, new shows Obi-Wan Kenobi and the Rogue One prequel Andor are slated for a 2022 release.

For now, none of these four shows has been given an official release date. However, there is a possibility one series will be dropped each quarter to avoid overcrowding of Star Wars content. Still, this means that there won't be a shortage of awesome shows to look forward to next year.
