Twilight star Taylor Lautner is set to make his major comeback in a new TV series where he will play himself as a werewolf hunter.
It's been a few years since the actor has starred in a major project as his acting career took a temporary step back. Fortunately, he is finally making his return and he is going back to the roots that made him a household name.
Taylor Lautner to Star in New TV Series About a Werewolf Hunter
Reports revealed that Lautner is set to star in and executive produce the new scripted TV series Taylor Lautner: Werewolf Hunter which is currently in development at Amazon MGM series.
There is no network or streaming platform attached yet to the project. Daisy Gardner will serve as the creator and showrunner of the project.
The Radio Silence duo of Matthew Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, who helmed the recent Scream films, are also involved as directors and executive producers.
Lautner's involvement in the potential new series will see him return to his werewolf roots as he famously played werewolf Jacob Black in The Twilight Saga which is considered to be his most famous role yet.
The actor has weighed in on the project in his recent Instagram post:
"Just when I thought I was out…they pull me back in," Lautner wrote in the caption.
