The July release date of the highly anticipated Tasuketsu anime adaptation is rapidly approaching as the spring season is nearing its end.
In this upcoming action, drama, and psychological anime of the summer season, Narita and his friends must band together to fight the Emperor and save the people they care about, if not the entire world.
Tasuketsu Anime to Debut in July on Crunchyroll
The anime adaptation of Taiga Miyakawa’s Tasuketsu manga is set to be released on July 2, 2024, as part of the summer 2024 lineup.
This announcement was made through a promotional video for the Tasuketsu anime on the official YouTube channel of VAP.
Along with the announcement, the promotional video also unveiled more cast members, including Kotomi Aihara (Ritta Kanade in Ayakashi Triangle) as Borinmaru Gokokuhotenji, Shiki Aoki (Yushin in Voice of Fox) as Rika Suzuki, and Kentaro Kumagai (Laios in Delicious in Dungeon) as Hayato Soma.
Crunchyroll will stream the Tasuketsu anime on July 2 as part of their summer 2024 lineup, but there’s no word on whether it will receive an English dub later in the season.
In Japan, the Tasuketsu anime will debut on NTV on July 2 at 25:59 JST (effectively July 3) and will then air on BS NTV and RAB Aomori Broadcasting Corporation the following day. AT-X will also air the anime beginning July 4.
Beginning July 2, Hulu Japan and d Anime Store will also stream the anime, while other online streaming platforms such as ABEMA, Netflix Japan, and U-NEXT will begin showing the anime on July 7.
Tasuketsu Anime Release Schedule
According to the series' official website and X (previously Twitter) account, the Tasuketsu anime will have an uninterrupted double-cour broadcast schedule.
This means the Tasuketsu anime will run from July to December 2024, spanning two consecutive seasons from summer to fall, assuming there are no production or broadcast delays.
As such, the Tasuketsu anime adaptation is likely to contain more than 12 episodes, possibly up to 24 or 26 at most.
