Taika Waititi's Korg Said to Have a Larger Role in Thor: Love and Thunder

It's no secret that folks were pretty confident that Thor: Love and Thunder would exceed expectations, especially after director Taika Waititi injected the God of Thunder with some much-needed "pizzaz" in Thor: Ragnarok. However, the Phase Four film was met with mixed reviews from fans and critics alike.

Taika has yet to address the film's reception but he did reveal that he's not in a hurry to develop Thor 5. Well, he could be lying about that part. During an interview on BBC Radio 1, host Ali Plumb and Waititi discussed the possibility of a fifth Thor film being given a go and the two went back and forth pitching what the God of Thunder's next adventure should be called. The over-the-top titles range from "Thive: What a Classic Thor Adventure, Hurrah" to "Thor 5: Still Alive". Also Read: Natalie Portman Admits Concern About MCU Return As it stands, we still don't know if Kevin Feige will actually be able to squeeze Thor 5 into either Phase 5 or 6 but considering how both phases are currently packed, I think we might have to wait until Phase 7 to see Odinson return for a solo outing. Despite the mixed critical reception Love and Thunder ended up getting, it's still safe to assume that Marvel Studios would eventually green-light the fifth film as the Chris Hemsworth-led project continues to perform well at the box office. Hopefully though, Taika will tone things down a bit because it's quite obvious that we went overboard with Thor 4. Thor: Love and Thunder is now streaming on Disney+.
