Sydney Sweeney recently collaborated with Dr. Squatch to grant her fans' long-time request by selling her bathwater.

Though her "bathwater" was actually turned into soap with a marketed "Morning Wood" scent, even when Sweeney just announced it, fans were already sold.

Many awaited the release of Sydney Sweeney’s Bathwater Bliss, considering there were only 5,000 bars available. However, perhaps not many anticipated just how popular it would be.

It only took a few seconds before it flew off the digital shelves on June 6 at 12 p.m. EST, reportedly leaving buyers stuck in a queue, and perhaps even causing overwhelming traffic that temporarily broke the website.

Fans even questioned whether the product the actress was selling was real. However, when a commenter asked about what happened to the site on launch day, the Dr. Squatch account responded:

"Nah, it was there. People just bought it in .0001 seconds."

It didn’t take long before scalpers started posting the bars on eBay, pricing the originally $8 soap at shockingly high amounts, raising the profit margin by 19,900%, according to Dexerto.

Now, the only way fans can get a hold of Sweeney’s bathwater soap is by purchasing the ones listed on eBay, with prices ranging from $100 to a staggering $2,000.

The most expensive listing included a photo pack of Sweeney, according to the item description, which stated:

"All photos listed at 8.5x11 inches with a glossy finish. These are printed with the finest quality ink and printer on the market. Also includes extra photos of Sydney Sweeney in her hit show Euphoria. The autographs are reprints."

Why Did Sydney Sweeney Decide to Sell Her Bathwater Soap?

Sweeney is one of the most notable rising stars in recent years. Most fans know her from the hit HBO show Euphoria, where she is among the main cast, but some widely recognize her for starring in sultry ads for brands often marketed to men.

In fact, part of the reason Sweeney decided to sell her Bathwater Bliss is due to fans insisting on buying her bathwater after seeing her sit in a tub filled with water for the Natural Body Wash for Men ad, which is another Dr. Squatch creation.

"You kept asking about my bathwater after the @drsquatch ad… so we kept it." the 27-year-old said in a joint Instagram post. "Introducing Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss! A very real, very limited-edition soap made with my actual bathwater."

Fans wondered if Sweeney actually had her bathwater infused into the soap, and the actress answered their question in an interview with GQ:

"When we were at the [Dr. Squatch] shoot, they had a tub for me. And I actually got in there and took some soap, and we had a nice little bath, and they took the water. So it’s my real bathwater."

Though it reportedly contains Sweeney’s bathwater, bathers who have tried it described the soap as having a “manly scent,” as Chris Harris from the New York Post noted.
