Being a celebrity is as hard as it is as you have all eyes focused on every single thing you do. Being a Kpop idol, specifically, strips them off of their privacy and it naturally became a must to expose their everyday lives to the public.
But Kpop idols are human, too. They have emotions and despite being a celebrity, they still have the right to protect themselves from abusive people and haters that don't have anything to do right in their lives.
Super Junior is a boy group that debuted in 2005 under SM Entertainment. Non-Kpop fans may have heard about them through their songs that dominated the world such as Sorry Sorry, Mr. Simple, and Bonamana. ELFs (Super Junior fans) adore the members as all-rounders in the entertainment industry. Super Junior is also the definition of a chaotic (in a good way) group with a strong sense of loyalty and teamwork.
Super Junior Ryeowook Pins And Fires Back To A Hate Comment On One Of His Vlogs
Originally a 13-member boy group, Super Junior is known to be savage idols who never back out from haters and antis. The members chicly respond to them in a professional way without dragging themselves out of the idol spotlight.
It was rather impressive how Super Junior, as celebrities, handle these kinds of situations in a professional way. And a recent issue that had the online community in a buzz was how savage Super Junior Ryeowook was with a hater.

The Little Prince singer pinned a hater's comment on his YouTube channel and responded in the most honest way possible. Here is the comment of the hater, who mentions that he/she is a fan, himself/herself.
Ryeowook... Let's do some dieting. You're dating and now you can't even manage your body? Then, why are you earning from fans' money... Just quit and manage the cafe with your girlfriend... It's so pitiful as a 10-year fan
It wasn't entirely easy for an idol to respond to such a comment. As Ryeowook is known in Super Junior to have his own way of doing things and is not afraid to take risks, it wasn't actually shocking that he managed to respond to the hater. To be honest, Ryeowook kept his cool. Here is the English translation for Ryeowook's reply to a hater who commented on one of his vlogs.
So I'm pitiful. I also pity you. You said you liked me for 10 years. Scary. For that span of 10 years, it's not that you liked me, but I think you didn't like me liking someone else. I sincerely hope you look at yourself. Also, it's not because of you that I earn money, it's money that I earned because I worked hard for it. You won't even imagine those times I spent working hard for it. Don't talk recklessly. And don't live your life hurting someone. You are wasting your energy. Don't love anyone. Live alone forever. Don't harm anyone.

Super Junior Ryeowook Creates New Twitter Account
After savagely responding to a hate comment, Ryeowook sassily creates a new Twitter account. Super Junior's official account and Donghae immediately followed Ryeowook on Twitter which confirmed that it is truly his.
Ryeowook welcomed a new beginning in social media with his first tweet. He shared a photo of himself with trees and a lake behind. The caption says "This is Ryeonggu! Haha." Ryeonggu is the nickname given by fans and the Super Junior members to Ryewook.
Meanwhile, Super Junior has earlier released their 10th full album Renaissance on March 16, 2021, after being postponed a couple of times.
