There is little doubt that one of the coolest things about Thor is when he summons the power of thunder and lightning to take down his enemies. Unfortunately, the glowing eyes of the Odinson can be difficult to replicate in real life. Nevertheless, one cosplayer managed to create a helmet that can make you look like Chris Hemsworth, at least when he's in full power mode.
YouTuber KyleOfAsgard came up with an awesome headpiece that resembles the Odinson's helmet in Thor: Ragnarok. However, it's more than just a meticulously designed prop. The helmet also boasts of a power pack, a wireless controller, and a set of blacklight LEDs inside the brim. The lights are best used with a pair of electric blue contact lenses that glow just like Thor's peepers.
KyleOfAsgard explains how to achieve the helmet but also drops a serious warning. He reveals that turning on the LEDs for a prolonged period could damage your eyes so it's best to use them sparingly. With a warning like that, we would like to insist that this is probably not a good costume to try on your next visit to a convention.
Either way, it's an impressive piece of work that captures Thor's look. Hopefully, we'll see more of Hemsworth's Odinson using his powers to defeat Thanos in Avengers: Endgame.
It's still unclear if Thor might actually be willing to fight again in Endgame. After all, he was somehow responsible for the Mad Titan still being able to snap his fingers in Avengers: Infinity War. Nevertheless, there is hope that he will recover soon enough to join the fight.
Avengers: Endgame will premiere on April 26, 2019.
