A lot of people are excited about the return of Wedge Antilles in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, but the latest trailer didn't feature the veteran X-Wing pilot at all. Good thing is, we can actually see Old Man Wedge in a cover for a Journey to the Rise of Skywalker book.

The cover is apparently for the Spanish version of Resistance Reborn and is the only version of the cover with Wedge. The version that was released in the US doesn't feature Wedge at all.
We don't know to what capacity Wedge will return in the movie, but it's likely he will be one of the people answering to Leia's call from the end of The Last Jedi. Personally I hope we get to see him in X-Wing garb and not just the trench coat. Maybe he can even wear the new gear and just have his original helmet for old-time's sake.
Though Wedge is a supporting character in the Star Wars films, he's grown to be a fan favorite thanks to the expanded universe. He's known for being an ace pilot, and even hails from Corellia, the same homeplanet as Han Solo. Not to mention Wedge was instrumental in the destruction of the second Death Star.
Everyone's excited for the end of the Star Wars saga, and hopefully, J.J. Abrams manages to give us something we'll all love; then again, with Star Wars fans, you can always expect some haters.
Catch Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in theaters Dec. 20.
