Star Wars: The Mandalorian premiered the latest episode a bit earlier this week to avoid conflict with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and for the past few days fans have been busy digesting the penultimate episode of the new live-action Star Wars series.
There's a lot going on in The Mandalorian's seventh episode, "The Reckoning." Not only do we see Pedro Pascal's Mando return to Navarro (via ComicBook.com), but we also get to see the bounty hunter come face to face with a brand new threat in the form of Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito). The episode kills off a popular character in the series and it ends with a heartbreaking cliffhanger that has fans demanding for more.
While most fans are busy worrying over Baby Yoda's wrinkled green head, fans have noticed how The Mandalorian has added to the list of things that a Jedi can do with the Force.
In the episode, fans get to see The Child healing Greef Karga with the use of the Force after the bounty hunter gets bitten by a creature that not only wounds him but poisons him as well. Using "Force Healing" baby Yoda saves Greef Karga, allowing the bounty hunter to live another day.
"Force Healing" is a relatively new concept in Disney's Star Wars canon. Sure, it might have existed in the Star Wars Expanded universe for years, but it's never really become part of cannon. Not, it looks like it has.
Baby Yoda's "Force Healing" abilities make you wonder what else the little swamprat can do, huh.
Star Wars: The Mandalorian is currently streaming on Disney+. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premieres December 20, 2019.
