Lucasfilm might be trying its best to keep a few of Star Wars: The Rise of SKywalker's secrets under lock and key, but thanks to the studio's new display at this year's D23 Expo, we're getting to see a few of the new troopers in the film.
D23 is in full swing in Anaheim, California right now, and Lucasfilm has a pretty great exhibition on the convention floor. Part of the exhibition is some of the costumes that fans are going to see in some of the studios' upcoming projects like Star Wars: Episode IX and Star Wars: The Mandalorian.
In one of the images taken by That Hashtag Show, we get to see the costume of a First Order Jet Trooper from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The Jet Trooper is described as a "specialized stormtrooper of the First Order, jet troopers soar into battle equipped with agile rocket packs."
Though the Jet Trooper seems to have a standard stormtrooper outfit, he has a different helmet on him, as well as an interesting symbol stylized on his chest.
In another image, we get to see another important costume – the outfit of The Mandalorian, the new character that we're going to meet later in November this year.
A lone warrior, the Mandalorian is going to be played by Game of Thrones star, Pedro Pascal. There haven't been that many details about the series yet, but word on the street says that Lucasfilm plans to drop the show's first teaser today. Let's wait and see.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premieres December 20, 2019. Star Wars: The Mandalorian launches together with Disney+ on November 2, 2019.
