The Skywalker saga may have finally come to an end with the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker last year, however, little has been revealed about what Lucasfilm has planned for the future of the galaxy far, far away.
While the studio has been keeping mum about the future of the Star Wars film franchise, there's been a lot of talk online about what Star Wars fans want to see next, and some have been pinning their hopes on a Star Wars prequel detailing Sheev Palpatine's youth.
One of those fans hoping to see an Emperor Palpatine prequel believes that actor Camera Monaghan would be the best actor to take on the role of a young Darth Sidious, and it seems like a number of others agree with him.
Posting on the site, Redditor user u/Dr_Charisma has been namingThe Giver and Amityville: The Awakening star Cameron Monaghan as a potential candidate for a young Palpatine. Putting a picture of the actor alongside art featuring young Sheev, the Reddit User says that the actor would make a great Palpatine.
Take a look at the photo down below:
Does anyone else think that, if he weren't already playing Cal, Cameron Monaghan would have made a really good young Sheev Palpatine? Of course, it all depends on whether or not he can mimic Ian McDiarmid's iconic voice...
