Merchandise items for The Acolyte have allegedly been removed from the Disney Store, and it got a lot of Star Wars fans worried about the show's state on Disney+.

A few days ago, we learned the unfortunate news that Lucasfilm will not move forward with a second season of the High Republic-set Star Wars series a month after the first season finale aired.

The news prompted a lot of backlash from fans online as they were disappointed with the show's abrupt cancellation. A petition has also started as fans try to convince Lucasfilm to reverse their decision.

Disney Store Allegedly Removed The Acolyte Merch from Website

Just days after the cancellation news, Star Wars fans online have noticed that The Acolyte merchandise is no longer available on the Disney Store website.

It prompted them to be concerned about the show's future on Disney+ as they speculated that it could be a sign that the series might be removed from the platform similar to the Willow series.

Here are some of the reaction posts from fans on X:

However, some fans noted that the removal of The Acolyte merchandise from the Disney Store website might not be true after all as they also noticed that the items for Andor are also not available.

They warned that it might just be an online misinformation and it is likely that the merchandise was already sold out before the cancellation which is why we can't see them on the website.

So far, Lucasfilm and Disney have not commented on The Acolyte merchandise's alleged removal from the Disney Store website.

While the wiping out might not end up being true, it is understandable to see why a lot of fans were concerned as the cancellation news is still fresh and we have seen patterns in the past where a streaming platform removes a show that got canceled.

It would be interesting to see whether Lucasfilm will continue and resolve some of the cliffhangers in the first season finale in some capacity as a result of the show's abrupt cancellation.
