- Quick Answer: Tom Hardy has not been officially fired from MobLand Season 3; production is actively negotiating to resolve creative differences and ensure his return.
Amid the controversy Tom Hardy is currently facing due to alleged clashes with MobLand co-stars and producers, Star Trek stars Brent Spiner and Ron Perlman revealed that there was a time the actor was treated badly on the set of their 2002 film Star Trek: Nemesis.
Hardy is in hot water amid claims that he was fired from the hit Paramount+ gangster series. However, despite the negative light being cast on Hardy, Spiner and Perlman had nothing but kind words for him.
What Happened to Tom Hardy on Star Trek: Nemesis?

Tom Hardy made one of his earliest performances in Star Trek: Nemesis, where he played Praetor Shinzon, a Romulan-created clone of Picard (Patrick Stewart) who becomes the leader of the Remans and plans to invade the Federation and destroy life on Earth.
But despite being the film’s antagonist, Ron Perlman found the Venom actor “sweet.”
“He was so sweet, and so… talk about deferential,” he said during an appearance on Jonathan Frakes and Brent Spiner’s Dropping Names… And Other Things podcast. “And he really appreciated our time together. We bonded big time.”
However, while Hardy appeared to behave well on set, Spiner revealed that “he was not treated very well by the director, Stuart Baird.”
“I mean, he wasn’t really a director,” Perlman added. “He was a f***ing editor that the studio owed a favor to. He said, ‘You want to pay me back? Let me direct a movie.’ So they gave him Star Trek: Nemesis.”
These statements differ from Patrick Stewart’s account in his memoir Making It So, where he described Hardy as an “odd, solitary young man.”
But with the revelation that Baird allegedly treated Hardy badly, it may explain why he kept to himself and preferred to stay out of the way.
Will Tom Hardy Return to MobLand Season 3?

Tom Hardy plays Harry Da Souza, the cool-headed, street-smart fixer and enforcer for the London-based Harrigan crime family in MobLand.
However, despite the importance of his character, reports emerged in May claiming that Hardy had been fired from the series following alleged clashes with executive producers Jez Butterworth and David Glasser, as well as rumored feuds with co-stars Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan.
Since then, however, there have been claims that negotiations are underway to resolve the situation and secure the Peaky Blinders star's return for a potential third season.
Even so, it appears that Paramount+ may already be preparing for the possibility of moving forward without him. According to a report from Page Six, Colin Farrell and Idris Elba have been considered as potential replacements for Hardy in the series.
Sources further alleged that Hardy had already expressed a desire to leave the show, prompting producers to begin exploring A-list alternatives should he ultimately decide not to return and reprise his role as Harry Da Souza.
