WARNING: The following contains spoilers from Star Trek: Picard Season 1 Episode 1. Proceed with caution.
In Remembrance, we are introduced to a woman named Dajh, who is immediately attacked by Romulan assassins. At first, it looks like Dajh will be killed along with her boyfriend but she suddenly starts fighting back and effectively takes down all of the assassins. She then sees visions of Jean-Luc Picard and sets off to find him to get help.
Although Picard is quick to help the girl, it's simply not meant to be as Dajh is killed by the Romulans. But before that, Picard discovers that Data had painted an image of a woman resembling Dajh and names it "Daughter." Picard would later learn that an experimental procedure using Data's programming would result in twin girls. While one of them is Dajh, the other twin is revealed to be a woman named Soji Asher, who meets with the Romulans.
For now, it's still unclear what will happen to Soji. However, things could finally be revealed in the next episode of Picard.
Star Trek: Picard Season 1 Episode 2 is titled Maps and Legends and is scheduled for release on January 30.
