Spy x Family Season 2 Episode 12: Finale Release Date
Spy x Family Season 2 Episode 12 premiered on Saturday, December 23. The season's final episode was titled Part of the Family.
At the time of season 2's conclusion, there was no confirmation regarding a potential Spy x Family Season 3.
Spy x Family Season 2 Episode Count & Release Guide
Spy x Family confirmed that the second season would air for only 12 episodes. While that was disappointing for some fans, it wasn't entirely unexpected.
The first season of Spy x Family had a total of 25 episodes split over two separate cours last year. However, many major series, such as Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, are released in 12-episode, single-cour runs.
Given that there was no additional cour scheduled for 2024 prior to the premiere, it was always likely this upcoming season would only take place during the Fall 23 season, ending in December in line with the Code White movie's release.
Episodes of Spy x Family Season 2 aired every week. Here's the series' complete schedule:

---|---|---|
Episode 1 | Follow Papa and Mama | October 7 |
Episode 2 | Bond's Strategy to Stay Alive / Damian's Field Research Trip | October 14 |

What Does Spy x Family Season 2 Cover?
Spy x Family takes place against the backdrop of a potential war between Westalis and Ostania.
Twilight is a Westalian spy tasked with creating a fake family to monitor the leader of an Ostanian political party through his child’s school, Eden Academy.
Now going under the fake name Loid Forger, he adopts Anya and enters a fake marriage with Yor. Little does he know that he now lives with a telepath and a masterful assassin!
The headline in Spy x Family Season 2 is the Great Cruise Adventure arc, where Yor is completing a mission as the Thorn Princess on a cruise ship when Anya and Loid suddenly turn up!
