Spy x Family Episode 18 Recap
The headmaster gave back their history quiz results, and Anya found out that she failed hers. She was asked to stay after school to get an additional lesson.
She found out that Damian got a high score, giving Anya the idea to just cheat during the midterms by reading Damian’s thoughts.
On the way home, Anya noticed that there is a full moon out. She suddenly panicked and asked Loid how many weeks it was before a new moon comes.
Loid replied that it will be two weeks before the next full moon arrives, which is on the same day as her midterm exam.
Anya got worried because it means she cannot use her telepathic abilities during that time.
It was revealed that Anya’s telepathic abilities become inactive when the moon cannot be seen, including during eclipses.
She asked Bond to see if he can provide her with the answers to the exam but she failed.
Not only is Anya worried about her status at school but Loid also decided that he will have to do drastic measures just to keep her enrolled.
Yor noticed that Anya is not progressing in her studies and asked Yuri to help her, but Yuri isn’t that excited to tutor Anya considering that Loid is at home and Anya is not Yor’s biological child.
Before they can start the tutoring session, Anya claimed that she felt sick, so they decided to have a short tea break first.
During the break, Loid and Yuri talked about the summit where Anya found out that the two men are unaware of each other’s identities.
Loid decided to leave the two alone during their tutoring session. At first, Anya did a fantastic job answering the questions as she was reading Yuri’s thoughts.
Eventually, she realized that she cannot use her powers during the exam and decided to study seriously. However, things still did not go her way and Yuri eventually decided to just go home.
In the second part of the episode, entitled Daybreak, the story fast-forwarded to two weeks.
Loid decided to disguise himself as a teacher to help Anya improve her exam results.
He then met another spy for Ostania named Daybreak. His objective is to alter Damian’s answers but eventually made a lot of rookie mistakes.
After five days, it was revealed that Anya got the 213th rank, which means she barely passed the exam.

Spy x Family Episode 19 Release Date
Spy x Family Episode 19 is set to be released on November 12, 2022.

The series is confirmed to be a split cour season. The first part had 12 episodes while the second part will have 13 episodes, so all in all, Spy x Family will have 25 episodes.

In Japan, Spy x Family Episode 19 will air on November 12 at 11:30 PM JST.
The dubbed episode, on the other hand, will be released on November 13, at 5:30 AM JST.
Crunchyroll offers a simulcast feature so members can watch the new episode approximately one hour after it airs in Japan.
