Tom Holland has suffered an injury on the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and given the anticipation surrounding the film's high stakes, Peter Parker's going to have to do more than suit up.
How Did Tom Holland Get a Concussion on the Spider-Man 4 Set?
According to The Sun, Holland's injury was a result of a stunt gone wrong. The outlet reported that the 29-year-old MCU star "cracked his head in a fall" and was "treated for concussion."
Considering the lengths your typical friendly neighborhood Spider-Man had gone through in his four movies, this incident may warn fans how much more dangerous Brand New Day is going to be, apart from the fresh start Peter Parker is hoping to make in college.
Apart from Holland's concussion, a woman, who may be one of their stunt doubles on set, was also taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
Filming for Spider-Man: Brand New Day is now on hold and could potentially be postponed for weeks, at least until the actors are back in good shape.
Holland's comedian dad, Dominic, attended a charity dinner in Mayfair and confirmed his son would be away from filming "for a while." Although Tom and his fiancée, Zendaya, were seen attending the said charity event, Tom was seen leaving early after feeling ill.
This was no ordinary fall, as the outlet noted this could lead to an "investigation" by the Health and Safety Executive.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day was initially set to premiere on the big screens on July 31, 2026. However, it seems that its release date could be pushed back, depending on the actors' speedy recovery.
